To Conclude

Epilepsy is a condition that affects every aspect of life of people suffering from it. In fact, the stigma that is attached to epilepsy in society makes it more difficult for people to deal with rather than the disease itself. Further, the various misconceptions surrounding the disease deteriorates the situation all the more. The International Epilepsy Day is a step towards dismissing these myths.

Unless people are educated and informed about this condition and its facts, the myths will never cease to exist. Hence, it is important to spread awareness so that the stigma or the discrimination that is faced by epilepsy patients comes to an end.
