  • Each scanned copy must be without any marks

The processing time for an update to take effect is 30 to 90 days. If your request for an address change is not complied with within this time frame, you may dial 1947 (toll-free) or write to help@uidai.gov.in for further assistance.

It is a 14-digit number together with a 14-digit date and time of enrolment number. So, the combined 28 digits form the Enrollment ID (EID).

To track the status, go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/CheckAadhaarStatus type your EID/URN and the captcha code, and click on the submit button to receive the update on the status.

Prerequisites and Eligibility

In case you don’t have valid address proof, you should at least have a copy of the Address Validation Letter received from UIDAI.
