  5. Unified Payments Interface or UPI: Customers can transfer funds without downloading any UPI app or using a debit card. It is done with the help of a virtual payment address ID to make instant payments.

How to do Postal Life Insurance/PLI Login and Registration?

Generate Customer ID     Generate Password     PLI Login

Visit the PLI Customer Online Portal

Click on the registration link received on your registered email ID     Log in to the PLI customer portal after 24 hours of setting the password using the User ID and the set password

Click on the ‘Generate Customer ID’ and fill in the details as per your policy

The link will take you to the ‘Set Password Page’, enter the password and click on the ‘Set Password’ option      

Click on the ‘Submit’ option

You will receive the message for a successful registration

 
You will receive the Registration Link and the customer ID on your registered email address within 24 hours    

Log in to the online PLI portal after 24 hours

 
Visit the registration link within 72 hours to complete the registration     Enjoy paying PLI premium online      

 

Things to Note Before Processing Online Premium Payments

  1. PLI online payments are available to people who have an account in India and are aged between 18 years to 50 years.
  2. Online PLI premium payment facilities are valid for Government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna for a life cover of up to Rs. 2,00,000 per year.
  3. Online PLI premium payment facilities are provided by IPPB with PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Ltd. and are facilitated by mobile apps.
  4. After the amount gets debited from the customer’s account, then the customer gets a 45 days initial waiting period on the policy. This waiting period is not applicable in case the cover is not renewed the same year.
  5. The annual premium payable by the customer according to the revised structure is Rs. 330 for the enrolment period of June – Aug. It is Rs. 86 for the enrolment period of Sept – November.
