- The call will automatically get disconnected after ringing twice without you paying any extra charges for the call
- You will receive the PF balance and last fund transfer in your PF account through an SMS

Use the UMANG app for a quick EPFO member passbook check. You can access this government-launched app by following these steps:
- Install the UMANG app on your mobile phone
- Open the app and click on ‘EPFO’ option
- Choose ‘Employee Centric Services’
- Select the ‘View Passbook’ option displayed on the next screen
- Provide your UAN and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
- Log in and view your EPF passbook and previous transactions
4. Steps to Check EPF Balance through the EPFO Portal
You can easily check the PF balance online and even print the EPF passbook through the official EPFO portal. For this, follow these steps:
- Visit the official EPFO website
- Go to the ‘Our Services’ Option on the EPFO Member Home Page
- Choose the ‘For Employees’ Option
- Click on ‘Services’
- Select ‘Member Passbook’
- Enter your UAN along with the password and view the passbook online
Important Things to Remember to Check PF Balance via Website
- You must have an activated UAN or Universal Account Number, which should be registered on the UAN Member Portal
- You can view the EPF passbook only after 6 hours of registration of the UAN Member Portal
- Your account will become dormant if you stop contributing to it for more than 3-years
- Any changes made on the UAN portal will reflect only after 6-hours
- The latest entries in the PF account will reflect after 24-hours of credit after reconciliation by the EPFO Field Offices
