Vehicle owners can buy insurance as per their requirements, such as they can opt for third-party vehicle insurance, comprehensive vehicle insurance as well as Own-Damage Insurance coverage, among others. However, as per government regulations, a minimum of a third-party insurance policy is a must for every vehicle to cover the liabilities of third parties on the road.

1. Four-wheeler Insurance:

Car insurance can be bought online or offline as per the comfort of the car owner. As per their requirement, the car owner can choose to buy the required coverage for their vehicle from the chosen insurer after comparing different policies and picking the one that suits them best. Below are the steps to follow for the procedure:

  1. For offline buying of vehicle insurance, you can visit the office of your insurer, while for online purchases, you can log on to the official portal of the insurer
  2. Duly fill out the application form indicating the insurance plan that you have opted for
  3. Submit all the important documents required
  4. Pay the premium at the insurer’s office if you are paying offline, or through online payment gateways in case of online payment
  5. In case of an offline process, you can collect the payment receipt and policy document from the office, while for the online process, you can download the receipts or get them through your registered email

2. Two-Wheeler Insurance:

Like four-wheeler owners, two-wheeler vehicle owners must also possess at least third-party insurance coverage as per the Motor Vehicle Act of India. Bike owners in Noida can apply for two-wheeler insurance either offline or online. The premium of the insurance is determined based on the make, age, and model of the vehicle. You can follow the same steps to purchase a two-wheeler as in the case of a four-wheeler via online or offline mode.
